
Woodland Springs Residents,
On Tuesday October 14th the Code Blue/Citizen Patrol Volunteers will be hosting our 2nd Annual Texans Against Crime Night. This years picnic will be in the main amenity center park at Woodland Springs Dr. and Park Vista Dr. from 6pm to 9pm.
We are quite excited about this years event. We are honored to have Congressman Burgess, State Rep. Vicki Truitt, County Commissioner Gary Fickes, Judge Sharen Wilson, Jeff Baker KISD Dir. of Demographics and Planning/Security, Captain Read FWPD North Div., Lt. Stone NPD3 a visit from Councilman Sal Espino and possibly Mayor Moncrief!! We will also have a FW Fire truck and the FW Mounted police in attendance. There will be FW City Representatives from Graffiti Abatement, Code Compliance, the Better Business Bureau and the District Attorney's Office.
We will have 3 different size bounces houses, prizes and we will serve hot dogs, chips, cookies and a beverage to everyone (until we run out). The Central High School ROTC Cadets will be helping us and we will have their Booster Club present having a bake sale.
The residents are asked to pick up your free food ticket (one per person) at the Code Blue booth. We will have information on upcoming Code Blue classes and you can sign up to receive email Crime Alerts from the Code Blue team and meet Officer Barry Sawyer our own FW neighborhood police officer.
