DFW International Airport will conduct a major disaster exercise on June 7, 2005. This exercise is required by federal law to test the efficiency of the Airport Emergency Plan.

Volunteers will be needed to simulate victims in an aircraft incident. Those who volunteer will need to be available from 5:30 am to approximately 12 noon on June 7th. Please visit our website at Mock Disaster Drill for more information.

You will find a link for information (Volunteer for Emergency Drill at DFW Airport) and registration to be one of our victims for this exercise.

This year's exercise will test DFW Airport procedures. It will include facets that will test the regional response to possible bio-hazards, a very relevant issue in today's political and cultural environment. DFW DPS is aware that the initial response to a large accident at DFW Airport is only the beginning response. The broader response involves all the surrounding communities, agencies and organizations.

Thanks,
